William T. Skelnik, age 74, of Prescott, AZ, formerly of Palatine, IL.

William was the beloved husband for 35 years of Karen (nee Pasteur); loving father of Tracie (Gary) Kaminsky, Tina (Dan) Rooks-Small, William (Tiffany) and the late Terri Lynne Skelnik; cherished grandfather of Tony and Matthew Kaminsky, Sammantha and Nicholas Rooks and Trent, Chase and Reese Skelnik; dear brother of Richard and Karen (Eric) Hein; devoted son of the late Anthony and Mae; fond uncle of Brad, Julie and Suzanne.

William was born February 8, 1944 in Chicago and passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Alden Estates of Barrington, IL.

Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2019, from 8:30 am to time of prayers at 10:30 am at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL, proceeding to Transfiguration Parish 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, IL 60084, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association- www.alz.org.
