Obituary for Timothy P. Richartz

Timothy Paul Richartz, 68 of Island Lake died peacefully January 28, 2020 in Barrington with members of his family by his side after a short battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Elizabeth (nee Syoen) Richartz, his mother Ann (nee De Kala) Richartz of Prospect Heights, his brother Mike (Cindy) Richartz of Island Lake, his sisters Susan (Craig) Henry of Bloomingdale and Lynne Edebohls and her partner Nolan Dunham of Madison, WI. He enjoyed his many nieces, nephews, and great-nephew, and considered his life-long friends Kurt (Joan) Kieffer and Scott (Marilyn) Perry and many of his neighbors, friends and their children as close family. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul H. Richartz and his beloved grandmother, Mary Richartz Szewczyk.
An Eagle Scout, he was a man of varied interests and talents and will be missed by many.
Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home is handling the private service and burial, and there will be a Celebration of Life to honor him at a later date.
