Julia Feranski, loving wife of the late Harry; beloved mother of Barbara (Jerry) Bechtel; loving grandmother of Kathleen, David and Joseph and dearly loved by her great grandchildren, Angela and Jesse.
Julia passed away peacefully at home on February 22, 2013, at the age of 95. She was devoted to her daughter and family, and was affectionately known as "Busia" to all of her family and friends.
Julia began baby-sitting for her eldest niece in 1948, cared for her other nieces and nephews whenever she was needed, and for her grandchildren and great grandchildren until 2005.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL . On Wednesday, February 27, 2013, visitation will continue at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until the time of prayers at 10:30 AM, proceeding to Transfiguration Parish, 348 W. Mill St., Wauconda, IL for mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, Il.
