Lillian "Wanda" Lee Beck; beloved wife of 61 years of Marvin Edward; loving mother of Ladawn (Jim) Marlowe of Mesa, AZ, Kenneth (Jane) Lackey of Bloomington, IL, Teresa (Ken) Jones of Surprise, AZ and Jeffrey (Bonnie) Beck of Crystal Lake, IL; cherished grandmother of 6 and their spouses; enamored great grandmother of 13; fond sister of Marion (Carol) Burmingham of Crystal lake, IL and Betty Nelson Smith of Hardy, AK. Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband Herman Lackey, her parents Eva and Andrew Burmingham, and siblings Virgil, Dickey, Bill, Emma and Bernice.
Born on August 15, 1926 in Hoxie, AK, she passed away January 27, 2013 in Woodstock, IL. She was 86 years old.
Wanda loved to read, garden and spending time with her family and friends.
Memorial visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 PM at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. Inurnment will be private.
