Charles "Sonny/Ace" Weier, age 86, was a resident of Island Lake, IL.
Chuck was the beloved husband of the late Frances; loving father of Barbara (Michael) Maguire and Carol (Matt) Zoost and grandpa to their pets; cherished brother of Maryann Stas and the late Irene Weier; fond uncle, cousin and dear friend and god father to many.
Chuck was born April 10, 1926 in Skokie, IL and passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts., IL.
Chuck was an avid Cubs and Bears fan and pinochle player; and had retired from Bell & Howell in Lincolnwood after 40 years of service. He enjoyed yard work and was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 10:00 AM to time of funeral service 12 Noon at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL. 60084. Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
